Style Notes

Modern Paris. This beautiful designer apartment has modern fixtures and fittings blended with traditional Parisian touches, including a wooden floor, mirrors and mouldings on the ceiling. We love the sofa by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, the retro children’s desk and the clean spaces throughout.

Meslay residence was a wonderful spot from which to base our stay in Paris! Our two boys felt totally at home, with toys to play with and scooters. And it was such a charming apartment in a great location! We would definitely stay again when we return to Paris.

Great stay in a very central location. Our kids loved the kids room and the toys and bunk bed. Nice to come back to a comfy couch & a charming living room after sightseeing. We liked that it was a real home instead of just being a rental.

The best aspect of this apartment is its location, which is perfect for families. It was an easy walk to the Marais and the Canal St. Martin, and had great access to public transit, putting the city at our disposal. Even better, it's around the corner from a wonderful little pocket park with play structures for children (toddler+). We had a very comfortable stay, with the small kitchen extremely functional, and the common areas of the apartment spacious and comfortable. We did struggle a bit with the lighting, the hand-held shower, and the street noise, but all of these added to the "real Paris experience". Our hosts were easy to interact with, and generous as well - setting us up with kitchen basics in case we were too exhausted from our trip to shop right away (we were.) We are looking forward to staying again if we are lucky enough to travel that way again.

Beautiful home with much to entertain our 3 and 6 year old boys. Elise was a gracious host and we enjoyed our time, a perfect location for exploring Paris.

We stayed at Elise's apartment with our family of five and had an amazing stay! The apartment's location is in a quiet side street with lots of amenities, metro stops and shops around the corner. She provided us with her children's scooters which made exploring the city lots of fun for our children and we managed to cover a large area by foot. Walking from the apartment to Ile de cite is little over 2 kilometers and will take you through the Marais which is a fantastic experience. You can take a multitude of metro lines back to the apartment as it is close to two metro stops. Our son loved the toys (Playmobil and Lego) that are available at the apartment and even asked us to prolong the stay as he was not done playing with all of the toys. In short, great! I can recommend it to anybody looking for a quiet apartment close with easy access to tourist attractions and which allows you to have a relaxing retreat when sight seeing has worn you out. Thank you Elise!

Arts et Métiers, The 3rd arrondissement

Innovative, energetic and exciting

Literally meaning Arts and Crafts, Arts et Métiers is in the northern Marais district and is a lively, interesting part of the city. It is known for its Chinatown and the National Library of France. The district boasts airy Haussmannian streets, in sharp contrast to the density of nearby Les Halles or Châtelet.
