It was such a treat to stay here for our weekend in Athens. The home is gorgeous — kid-friendly but totally elegant, and so bucolic in the woods but close to town. My 2-year-old son was a huge fan of the toys, especially the water table on the back porch, and the cuddly cats as well. Kimberly had wonderful suggestions for where to go / eat / play in Athens and we definitely want to come back!

We couldn't have loved our stay at the Crescent Lane Residence more. Kimberly was an amazing host. Her list of restaurant and activity recommendations really made our trip. Our kids loved playing with all the toys and exploring their expansive property. Athens is such a cool little town and we would love to come back sometime.

Athens, Georgia

Music, football and free-living animals

This artsy college town is known for quirky coffee shops, music scene and football team and is a great spot to visit with kids. Take tours of the historic downtown area and learn about history, heritage and REM; visit Sandy Creek Nature Center to discover the outdoors and wetlands in over 4 miles of trails, and get to know the real locals at Bear Hollow Zoo, a small wildlife trail home to black bears, bobcats, white-tailed deer, owls, and many other species of wild, free-living animals.
