About the Location

Lake Claire is one of Atlanta’s hippest and most family-friendly areas and is approximately 15 minutes’ drive northeast of downtown. A quick walk away you'll find all of the locals lining up for brunch at Gato or picking up a 6-pack of craft beer from Candler Market while their kids pick out popsicles from King of Pops or get a slice of pizza from Fellini's. There's a playground just a street over and Emory, Midtown and Decatur are just a few miles away. The residence is super close to Candler Park and the Fernbank Museum and conveniently located to all that Atlanta has to offer. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta airport is a 25-minute drive away.

It includes an open plan living room/dining room with vaulted kitchen as well as a separate cozy den and a bright sunny office with sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has french doors that open onto the back deck and has a queensize bed and ensuite shower bathroom. Style Notes

Modern and sophisticated. Dating to 1938, this pretty cottage has an updated interior with beautiful design touches. The living room and dining room are decorated with designer furnishings in a neutral palette - including a white stone coffee table, velvet wingback chairs and a Mid-Century inspired sofa - while the den has a large grey sectional to make watching TV comfortable while children play with toys. The dining room table is metal accompanied with ghost chairs that make for a modern design but super easy to wipe down and clean up. The kid's rooms are bright and modern with comfortable beds and plenty of well-organized toys. We love the verdant garden, the great location and the stylish family design.

Atlanta, Georgia

Everything's peachy

You'll be surprised at how much there is for kids to do in Atlanta. Kids over 12 can actually swim with sharks in the world’s largest aquarium; marvel at real life teddy bears, er, Panda Bears, at Atlanta Zoo, or splash in Olympic themed waterfalls at the Centenniel Olympic Park. And that’s not all: there’s also a great children’s museum, a puppetry center, the Coca-Cola museum and an American Civil War spot to visit. Stone Mountain Park is one of the biggest outdoor attractions, and there’s history to be remembered at the Martin Luther King Jnr National Historic Site.
