My husband and I are journalists/film makers. We have a 7-year old son. We travel a lot and when we're away we like to rent our home for other families to enjoy our beautiful craftsman bungalow. It's the perfect vacation house for a family with kids as they can enjoy the large backyard, pool and outdoor fire pit.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Glenhurst residence. Our children had the best time playing in the yard (and loved the great selection of children's books inside!). We adults loved spending time in the beautifully decorated, comfortable home and really appreciated the kitchen which was a breeze to use for the times we ate in. We ate dinner on the patio under the twinkling string lights one night and it is one of our favorite memories of the trip. Mariana is a wonderful host and set us up with a great list of places to eat and things to do nearby. Thanks so much!

We had a terrific stay at Mariana's place in July! The pool and backyard are a dream, which was much needed in an LA heatwave. The interiors are beautiful and comfortable, and my kids loved the child's room. Great kitchen and perfect indoor/outdoor setup. Guesthouse became the hangout place when the kids tired of swimming. Easy walking distance to the main strip of Atwater Village with great restaurants, coffee shop, farmers market and ice cream - a luxury in LA. Would love to stay again on our next trip!

We had a great stay at the Glenhurst Residence. The house and backyard are beautiful and it worked great with my 1 yr old daughter. The house is well insulated so we didn't wake her up and vis versa. We would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay here. The house is beautifully-decorated and very well-maintained. Our son loved the chalkboard wall to draw on in the kitchen and the hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly. We found lots to do in the neighborhood and gained at least 5 lbs each from the nearby excellent bakery. Thanks for a lovely visit!

We loved our stay - conveniently located in Atwater Village so walking distance to some great local eats like Proof Bakery and Dune. The house decor and layout was perfect for our family of 3. Will definitely stay here again when I visit LA.
