This collection of 7 modern apartments in a condo block a 10-minute walk from one of Portugal's finest beaches is great for young families and has a shared garden and swimming pool. Guests receive a gourmet basket, as well as onsite support and a variety of extra services.

Why Kids Love it

Set within Condominio da Bica in Baleal, the apartments have a shared swimming pool, barbecue area and large green garden, and are popular with young families, making it easy to make friends. The closest beach is a 10-minute walk away; surfing is popular on this coast also, with many surf schools.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 nights for busy seasons, and 2 nights for other periods. Please confirm with the host prior to booking. All of the apartments are fully furnished with modern amenities such as high-speed WiFi, high-end linens, and toiletries. The ground floor apartment has doors opening directly to the gardens; the swimming pool is not gated and does not have a lifeguard - young children will need supervision. Pets are allowed on request.

About the Location

The apartments are in Costa da Prata, one of the most authentic areas of Portugal. Lisbon Airport is 56 miles away; the nearest train station is in the town of Obidos, 13 miles away. Although shops and beach are in walking distance, a car is recommended to reach the rest of the nearby areas. The condo has free parking just outside the premises.

Accommodation Details

There are 7 apartments in total, which all share the grounds, gardens and swimming pool.
Apartment A is 113 sqm and is on the ground floor. It has 3 bedrooms: 1 master suite with private bathroom and a kingsize bed, 1 double room with a kingsize bed and 1 double room with two single beds. There is also a living room, kitchen and veranda.
Apartment F is 65.5sqm and is on the ground floor. It has 1 bedroom with double bed plus an open plan living space with kitchen and a bathroom.
Apartment S is 75sqm and is on the first floor. It sleeps up to 4 in 1 bedroom. It has an open plan living space/kitchen, plus balcony with dining table and bedroom with high double bed.
Apartment J is 202 sqm and has 2 bedrooms. It is on the ground floor and has an open plan living/dining/kitchen space. It has 1 bedroom suite with a shower and kingsize bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds plus a large shared bathroom with bathtub. The private terrace has direct access to the garden and swimming pool.
Apartment C is 195 sqm and is on the ground floor. It has 2 bedrooms and is the largest apartment in the collection. It has 1 large bathroom, a kitchen and a living room plus a large terrace with private entrance. The terrace includes a jacuzzi. Bedrooms have 1 kingsize bed and 2 twin beds.
Apartment R is 119 sqm and is on the first floor. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed that can be separated into 2 individual beds and the other with 2 single beds. There is a main living-dining room with balcony overlooking the pool, a kitchen and a bathroom with a tub.
Penthouse Apartment AC is 205 sqm and is on the rooftop of the condominium block. It has 2 bedrooms: a master with kingsize bed and private bathroom, and a double bedroom. There is a shared bathroom with steam bath and a large open dining area, top-of-the-line kitchen, living room and rooftop terrace with jacuzzi for 3.

Style Notes

Simple and modern. The light, simple and uncluttered interiors are beach-inspired with sea blue and yellow tones. Decorated by the prestigious Portuguese home fashion store Interdesign, apartments feature sand and sea tones, sophisticated decoration, warm wallpaper, mosaic floors, and contemporary art. We love the cheerful look, the spacious bathrooms and the garden and communal pool.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
