I'm mum of 2 sweet little girls aged 8 and 5, Léontine and Louison, and we expect another child for March or April 2018 ! We love travelling with our kids and we expect to find a family-friendly place where we could easily visit and enjoy the area, as you can do from our flat in the center of Paris !

This is the 2nd time that we are renting the apt and it was perfect both time. Laetitia is available to answer all our questions. The girl's bedroom has everything to keep our daughter entertained. We will come back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at Laetitia's place! Our children 5 and 3 had so much fun playing with her daughter's toys, including a puppet show and a well stocked kids kitchen. The whole family slept better than any other place in our Europe trip as kids each had their own bed and left mom and dad alone. Parents bed was comfortable and the apartment was really charming. Location was perfect, in a lively neighborhood where we felt like locals, but close to the tourist areas. There were three metro stops less than 10 min walk. We took several longer walks as a family during our stay. One walk was to the Marais neighborhood, Place de Voges, and Centre Pompidou. Another day we walked across the Seine to Notre Dame. Another day we walked to Pere Lachaise Cemetery then we caught an Uber to Eiffel tower (although we could have taken bus 69). Laetitia was responsive and a wonderful host.

Our experience with this wonderful flat could not have been better. Laetitia, the owner, was friendly, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. The flat was exactly what we needed as a family (2 boys, ages 5 and 8) for our week-long trip--comfortable, easy to get to, and safe. It provided a perfect "base" for all of our daily excursions because of its location. It's an easy 5-minute walk to the Bastille Metro station, where you can pick up 3 different Metro lines--including Line 1, which can take you to most of the "first time in Paris" sites on either side of the Seine, and Line 5, which can take you to the RER station that goes to Versailles. And there's tons to walk to from the flat, too--you literally trip over shops and cafes in the very trendy/foodie 11th (like Brooklyn in NYC or Wicker Park in Chicago), it's an easy walk west into the Marais, and the nearby Marche Bastille farmers' market should not be missed. If you're like us and want to experience Paris in an authentic way, outside the main hotel/tourist districts, you can't beat this flat. Thanks, Laetitia!

We really had a great time. The apt is very nice and friendly. The girl's room is perfect, our daughter was delighted by all the toys. Everything was clean and functional. The location is great, with tons of restaurants and shops around the corner. We definitely recommend it and will come back.

We had a GREAT time at this apartment. It is very cozy and welcoming and it's located in a very nice location with bakeries and cafes around and walking distance from the metro stations and parks. There's a grocery store (Carrefour) located right next to the apartment which is very convenient. The apartment is spotless, extremely kid friendly and the pictures are very accurate. Highly recommended. Now, the part we liked even more was the host. Laetitia was very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. It was very easy to communicate with her and was always willing to give suggestions and ideas to make the whole stay easier. She was also very kind and helpful and we can't recommend her enough.

We loved our time here. Laetitia was super helpful in advance and on arrival was there to welcome us and recommend local amenities. She had kindly organised a pushchair and there was a travel cot available too (which our youngest used for naps). The apartment was comfortable and stylish and our girls enjoyed the bedroom full of brilliant toys and the DVD collection of Disney classics. We appreciated the shutters on the outside of the windows (which kept the girls from waking too early), super fast wifi and a sweet balcony for a sunny evening drink. The local area was great with lots of restaurants. bakeries and cool shops. The supermarket is just a couple of steps away and open until late and there are two metro stations close by. There's also a tiny park and playground around the corner and a sandpit in the picturesque Place des Vosges gardens a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay, Laetitia was a great host - all in all highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this charming Paris apartment! We arrived at the end of our two-week stay in France and Laetitia was on hand to greet us and give us a tour of the apartment. She had been very quick to respond to emails prior to (and during) our trip and provided even more info about the area when we arrived. She had loads of great restaurant suggestions, as well as ideas of fun things to do with the kids on our one day in Paris. The apartment itself is bright and spotless, and had everything needed to keep our little ones happy. The neighbourhood is outstanding, close to many great restaurants, bars and interesting shops. We would love to return and are happy to recommend it to families visiting the City of Lights!

Bastille, The 11th arrondissement

Charismatic streets and revolutionary history

Get the kids inspired for a stay in Bastille with a viewing of Les Mis. The famous prison might no longer exist, but the history remains - Place de la Bastille is a symbolic spot in the heart of the city, now surrounded by charismatic streets and edgy art galleries. Don’t miss the Opera for some high class culture, Boulevard Richard Lenoir’s specialist food market and the city’s world-class zoo, home to lemurs and anacondas. Much of downtown Paris is just a short walk away.
