Why Kids Love it

The residence has plenty of toys, books and puzzles for kids under 5. A scooter, balance bike and 2 bikes with toddler bike seats on the back are available to use, with room for small wheeled toys in the open kitchen. A garden with a lawn, sandpit, wigwam, water tray table and a greenhouse with plants to water offer a variety of fun outdoor play on fair weather days. Two large parks within walking distance with playgrounds, ducks to feed, space to run and the River Thames running alongside.

About the Location

This central Battersea location is very family oriented, with plenty of child-friendly cafes, play areas, adventure playgrounds, farmer’s markets and parks nearby. A high rise Go Ape trapeze center, ideal for children 8 and over, and a child-friendly public swimming pool are a short walk away. The top floor bedroom offers city views with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom, and 3 remaining bedrooms on the first floor include a queensize bed, single bed (with truckle underneath) and toddler bed. Style Notes

Sophisticated and interesting. The house has many meaningful pieces of art, a wall of books, and colorful, eclectic rugs layered throughout. The double doors from the kitchen into the garden bring the lush green outdoors, in. Period features, ornate fireplace, large windows and balcony with terrific city views contribute to the beautiful and cozy experience. We love the country chic kitchen with brass pendant lights, rose-colored sofa and bright natural light.

We are a family of four, with two boys aged 3 & 5. We love to travel. After spending a month in Sri Lanka as a famiily we got the bug for long haul travel with our little ones. We joined Kid & Coe because we know the value of staying somewhere that suits the little people. If they're contented, everyone's contented!

We loved our stay here. It was a last minute thing due to some very unfortunate circumstances, and they were helpful and accommodating. My children loved all the toys, and the walk up the street to the shops and station were a plus.

Battersea, London

Thames walks and park strolls

South of the river, but only just, family-friendly Battersea is known for its power station - a major local landmark - and its excellent park, home to a mini zoo, boating lake and duck pond. Lavender Hill and Clapham Junction nearby have great pubs and cafés and just across the Thames are the chi-chi areas of Chelsea and Pimlico. It’s well connected by train and bus to the city at large.
