Style Notes

Modern retro. This remodeled Victorian has a lush garden and views of San Francisco. The corner lot is filled with natural light, plenty of space, and privacy with only 1 neighbor. Its modern, industrial style with vintage flair feels sophisticated but still comfortable. We love the hallway church bench, vintage gumball machine, tile work and cook’s kitchen with butcher block countertop and textured wall.

I am in arts and my husband is in tech and we now have a 3 and 7 year old. We love our proximity to beaches and mountains and the amazing cultural resources of San Francisco. Crissy Field, Glen Park Canyon, and Pacifica are regular weekend outings for us. We also love SFMOMA, the Exploratorium, and the Pirate Store/Paxton Gate in the Mission. We joined Kid & Coe at the time that my husband had a sabbatical and we have since made our home available when we travel.

Bernal Heights, San Francisco

Offbeat charm and stunning views

Shh! Don't tell everyone about Bernal Heights. This urban village on a steep hill on the southern edge of Mission Valley is a great place for families and something of a local secret. It's got a boho air - artists and young families congregate here - and its streets are bustling with cafes, markets and boutiques. Climb to the top of the hill in Bernal Heights park for sensational views.
