Zen retreat. Thoughtful, meditative and global touches make this recently-restored home truly unique. Artwork from far flung locations add interest to the walls while the calming touches create a serene atmosphere. The furniture is grown-up yet cozy and the updated amenities make the house inviting for comfortable stays in any season. Outside, the gardens have rows of lavender, an herb garden, and beautiful landscaping throughout to create a peaceful oasis for any time of day. Boulder, Colorado

Gateway to the Rocky Mountains

At the base of the Rocky Mountain foothills, Boulder is frequently ranked as one of the best places to live in the United States for its consistently sunny weather, fantastic outdoor recreational opportunities, environmentally conscious residents, and abundance of public parks and green spaces. Head downtown to the Pearl Street pedestrian mall to watch street performers, ride the free Tebo train for children, or cool off in the Pop Jet Fountain. When the snow begins to fall, head to nearby Eldora Mountain Resort or take a day trip to Vail or Breckenridge for world-class skiing and snowboarding.
