This newly-renovated family home in a quiet cul-de-sac in Bridgehampton, New York comes with a home gym, heated pool and tennis courts. It sleeps 10. The hosts have completely renovated this classic Hamptons property, ready for guests in May 2021, with Restoration Hardware styling, brand new tiled bathrooms and new furnishings throughout. It’s the perfect layout for families, with 4 large bedrooms upstairs and a private bonus room in the basement, ideal for teens, a nanny or an au pair. The basement also features a home gym so parents can work out during their stay, or play tennis on the community tennis courts, just a few steps away.

Why Kids Love it

The residence has plenty of games for families and lots of room to relax indoors, as well as the heated pool (so kids can splash happily all year round) with kids’ floats. It’s located on quiet road with no through traffic, so you don’t need to worry about cars or fumes when the kids are playing outside. This area is perfect for kids who want to explore the great outdoors and get back to nature - there’s miles of sandy beaches within easy reach. The whole family will love a trip to the Children’s Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton - a short drive away - or visit Sag Harbor for bike hire centers and watersports centers (10 minutes’ drive).

Things to Know

Minimum stay: varying by season, inquire for details. Mid-Jan through mid-March 3 night minimum. For June - September 2023 full monthly bookings will be given preference. A deposit of $1500 for propane will be taken prior to the stay and then adjusted based on actual use. Safety notes: the property is completely fenced in and there is an additional fence that can be placed around the perimeter of the pool, if needed, for small children. The pool is heated and also has a custom built outdoor shower. There is space to park cars in the garage and driveway - car rental is recommended. The house comes with air conditioning, dishwasher, washer/dryer (in a laundry room off the kitchen), outdoor grill, TV and WiFi. Pets are welcome on request - check the hosts when booking. This private community has 3 complimentary tennis courts available for residents to use. Utilities will be an additional charge.

About the Location

This home is located in Bridgehampton, New York. This quiet community is quintessentially open air Hamptons; bordering a nature reserve and farm fields for privacy and tons of open sky. It’s just a mile from Bridgehampton Village where you’ll find restaurants, antique shops, Soul Cycle, farmers markets and a vineyard. It’s less than 3 miles to magnificent ocean beaches: it’s centrally located between Sag Harbor and East Hampton. It’s just 5 minutes’ drive to Bridgehampton train station, or 15 minutes’ drive to the Jitney stops in Southampton or Sag Harbor. JFK and LaGuardia airports are roughly 2 hours away.

Accommodation Details

This residence has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. The living room features a dramatic floor-to-ceiling marble fireplace, skylights and glass doors leading to an expansive deck, a formal dining area and elegantly appointed chef's kitchen with an island. On the first floor, there are 4 large bedrooms. The generous primary suite features a kingsize bed, vaulted ceiling, French doors to a deck and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bubble tub. The second guest room also has an ensuite bathroom (with queensize bed); the other 2 bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom (and both rooms each have a double bed). The house also has a fully finished lower level, with a family room, gym (including a Peleton bike, City Rower and Bow Flex workout system), as well as a deluxe bathroom and bonus room for guests (with a queensize bed).

Style Notes

Classic Hamptons. This newly-renovated home (ready in May 2021) is bright, fresh and clean, with new cedar shingle siding and new Anderson windows. The hosts have refreshed the home in a contemporary, clean, Hamptons style with a relaxed open play layout. Large windows with wood shutters and French doors let in abundant natural light, while the easy indoor-outdoor flow is perfect for summer entertaining. The kitchen is finished with marble countertops and custom oak cabinetry, as well as top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances including a large Sub-Zero fridge, Miele dishwasher and gas Wolf burner stove. We love the soothing white and beige tones, the sleek and stylish modern chef's kitchen and the beautiful arched windows.

Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
