We're a family of 4 with two very active toddler boys who we like to keep as busy as possible on weekends and vacations. We're hoping to pass our love of travel on to them so hopping on a plane for an "adventure" is something they often look forward to. We joined Kid&Coe to post our kid friendly apartment in NYC while we travel and to explore the possibilities for new trips.

Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn

America's first suburb

Historical Brownstone Brooklyn starts here, where Brooklyn Bridge connects to Manhattan. It's a quiet, peaceful area - you might even wake up to birdsong - and is populated by families. Explore parks, kids shops and family-friendly eateries, then cycle or walk across the bridge to the big city. Don't miss the views from Brooklyn promenade over the water to the skyscrapers.
