We stayed at Ana's and apartment with our 2 children (8 months and 3 years old) for 2 nights in September 2017. We had a great stay, the flat is very pleasant to stay in, clean and decorated with taste. It is also quite big for Paris. Our kids loved the numerous toys and books. Ana answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly. The proximity to the Buttes-Chaumont park, to numerous nice stores, bistrots and restaurants, and to metro and bus stations was very convenient.

We loved our stay at the Rue Melingue. Anita was fantastic - great communication and super friendly and helpful. The apartment was lovely. My two loved the toys (and there was lots of them!) and loved being back at the apartment to play. Plus it has a big balcony so they could head outside. We really loved the neighbourhood as well. Lots happening, fabulous cheese, pastries and fresh food. Plus close to a gorgeous park and the metro.

After being to the centre of Paris a few times (without two kids) I knew this time would be a completely different experience, this apartment was perfect for that experience. I've already recommended it to my 'mum' friends. Really good location for the beautiful parks, The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie is a lovely walk away and hours of fun for little ones. Metro on the door step, which we only used once as walked everywhere, double pushchair in tow! My eldest boy LOVED all the toys available for him to play with. Really hope to stay here again in the future.

We loved this cozy apartment in a real neighborhood in Paris (and our boys loved all the toys!) - we didn't feel like tourists there. The balcony was a real plus, but unfortunately, we happened to be there during the worst heat wave in a long time. On the kid front: there are a couple great parks within walking distance, and the metro is super handy, but it does take at least half an hour to get into the city center (not necessarily a problem, just good to know). Easy to get or make good food, with markets, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Nothing like a fresh baguette every morning! It was the perfect place to come home to after our adventures each day.

Overall, we had a nice experience at this apartment. Anita was very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. The place was a bit different than we had definitely wasn't what i had imagined when staying in a Parisian apartment but we got used to it and enjoyed it by the end. The location is quite far away from most things, so we needed to take the metro nearly everywhere...and with a stroller and baby bag, toddler etc. it was a bit challenging. We love the kid & coe idea and hope to try it in the future.

Buttes Chaumont, The 19th arrondissement

Cafés, parks and playgrounds

This lively neighborhood to the northeast of the city center is walking distance from Canal St Martin, Belleville and Buttes Chaumont park. It’s safe, well connected and lively and is home to a good number of Parisian families. Buttes Chaumont Park should be your first stop - with a lake, hills, cafés and playgrounds, there’s something for all the family.
