Why Kids Love it

The residence has plenty of toys and books for children under 10 and a lovely kids’ bedroom. Its open plan living room is a great family space where adults can cook while kids play or watch a movie. If you’re travelling with kids under 5, you can pack light because there’s everything you need including 2 cribs, changing table, baby bath and a high chair while stair gates secure the steps for wondering toddlers. For days out, it’s an easy hop on the underground from here, or take a 15-minute walk to Regent’s Park where you’ll find London Zoo, 4 fantastic playgrounds, tennis courts, pedalos to hire on the boating lake, and open-air theater in the summer.

About the Location

Located a 2-minute walk from Camden Town Underground Station, there are excellent connections via the Northern Line to the center of the capital. Camden Town is the birthplace of punk and was the home of singer superstar Amy Winehouse (spot her statue within Camden Market). It’s a buzzy, vibrant place and great fun with a superb array of restaurants and food stores and vintage / local designer clothing boutiques / market stalls. Heathrow airport is a 45-minute taxi ride (traffic dependent) and Gatwick is 1 hr, 30 mins. Hire car is not necessary in this area and parking can be difficult.

Accommodation Details

This apartment has 2-bedrooms and 2-bathrooms laid out over 2 floors. There is a living space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table seating up to 3 adults + 1 baby / toddler in a highchair / booster. There is an L-shaped sofa and TV with access to an outside private patio. The 2 bedrooms are on the same floor: 1 full / double master bedroom with an ensuite with a walk-in shower, and 1 kids’ room with 2 twin / single beds and large wardrobe. The family bathroom has a bath tub and shower stall. Downstairs is an open plan playroom / nursery with a wood crib, rocking chair, changing table and a play teepee.

Style Notes

Luxurious and contemporary. This apartment has been beautifully styled by East London interior designer Supermarket Sarah. There are open plan interiors bathed in natural light and romantic, homely touches. Furniture is ultra-modern and multi-textural with high gloss cupboards in the kitchen set off by a wood, glass-topped table and house plants. Bathrooms are strictly soft gray, while bedrooms are neutral with colored cushions and throws. The children’s bedroom has soft toys and fluffy white sheepskins on the wood floor. We love the nursery / playroom with a ball pit and huge teddy, and the open plan family space.

We create beautiful, design-led apartments in London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. Gone are the days of the soulless hotel room or cookie-cutter accommodation which makes you feel like a serial number – we imagined a better way to stay. Beautiful, original, thoughtful, expansive and stylish, our homes in the heart of London’s best-loved locales come with everything you could need at your fingertips, so you can just plug in and truly feel like a local – even if you’re just in town for a few nights. As travellers ourselves, we know it’s the little things that can make you feel right at home. So we always greet our guests face-to-face to make sure they’re all settled, hand out our signature C-Z Guides, which painstakingly detail all of our tried-and-tested recommendations for the neighbourhood, and always gift guests with a welcome pack of treats so they can stave off those potent post-travel hunger pangs. Cuckooz serviced apartments are genuine homes created to help nomads feel native. We are part of a movement of explorers who also demand more than just an apartment. Authenticity seekers who want to stay for longer, restore the worklife balance by taking time to visit family and friends or live local, as part of a community.
