The collection of four private houses on a boutique family estate 15 minutes west of Carcassonne, has a shared pool, views of the Pyrenees and lovely play spaces. The whole environment is safe and stimulating for the kids who can choose from multiple shared play areas as well as the stunning pool complete with inflatable toys. Extras can be pre-arranged including bike hire, wine tasting, massage/beauty treatments in the treatment room and authentic French catering with meals delivered to your door.



Each house is private and has a private terrace. The nearby village of Montreal with all amenities is 5 minutes by car. Activities in the surrounding area include horse riding, biking, kayaking, golf, tree park, water skiing, markets, wild lake swimming and much more. Properties can be booked individually or in tandem for larger family gatherings. The whole estate sleeps a maximum of 23.

What we love

  • The pool is set away from the property and is fenced with a childproof gate; it also has an electronically operated hard security cover which is closed at night for extra safety.

  • Minimum stay: 7 nights Saturday to Saturday, with some flexibility in low season (including alternative arrival and departure days) by prior arrangement.
  • Maison Cypres has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8

  • Maison Figue has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 5

Payment policy
An initial non-refundable deposit (the Booking Deposit) equivalent to 30% of the rental period for each house should accompany the completed and signed Booking Form and acceptance of these Booking Conditions. Confirmation of the booking will be sent by email to the Client upon receipt of the Booking Deposit. The balance of the rent is due not less than 8 weeks prior to the start of the rental period, unless the booking is made within 8 weeks of the rental period when the full amount is due. If payment is not received by the due date, Le Sarrail reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled, the Booking Deposit forfeited and the property will be re-let. A cash deposit (the Security Deposit) of €350 or equivalent in sterling or other currency per house is required on arrival to cover any damage, loss or extra cleaning during the rental period. The Client is responsible for the loss or damage to any items made available as part of the tenancy. The sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Client's liability to Le Sarrail; if the cost of the repair or replacement exceeds the Security Deposit paid, the Client remains liable for the difference. Le Sarrail will refund the balance of the Security Deposit to the Client on the last day of the holiday less any damage or breakages. Le Sarrail reserves the right to refuse any booking without having to give any reason for such a decision. The booking is personal to the Client and not transferable to a third party (unless agreed with and confirmed in writing by Le Sarrail).
Cancellation policy
Payments are non-refundable. The Client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (to include cancellation cover) at time of booking and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability, etc., since these are not covered by Le Sarrail’s insurance. The Client is reminded to also bring any relevent health cards/documents. In the extreme case that we must cancel your holiday, a full refund of all payments made to Le Sarrail will be made and Le Sarrail’s liability will be limited to the total of such payments. Covid & Cancellation You are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel and health insurance which MUST specifically cover you and your family/fellow travellers for any travel disruption related to the Covid pandemic. If you are unable to travel here due to a national or regional travel ban you have two options: 1) You can cancel your holiday and we will provide a voucher to reschedule your holiday, valid up to 1 year, or more for special circumstances. 2) You may prefer to cancel your holiday completely and claim a refund from your insurance company. We will provide you with any necessary documentation required.
