Children's bikes are available to use. A TV, game console, and DVD library are provided for the family’s indoor entertainment, and plenty of toys, including an exersaucer, books and art supplies are available for ages 0-7. Style Notes

Sunny and relaxed. This restored farmhouse showcases bright, natural light, stunning views from the many windows and white shiplap throughout. An incredible cook’s kitchen is the center of the home with a large butcher block island, farmhouse sink, and open shelving with Weck jars. The landscaped back yard includes heated pool, lounge chairs, outdoor dining, built in BBQ and 100 acres of land with marked hiking trails. We love the exposed wooden beams, vintage pendant lights, cozy window seats and incredible setting.

We had an absolutely fantastic week with the family ranging from ages 2 months to 70 years. The house was perfect for two families and so family and cooking friendly. Lisa gave us lists of things to do and could not have been more gracious with her introduction to the property and special treats. We loved the house, the property and the area. We hope to visit again!

Chatham, Hudson Valley

Culture and countryside adventures

In the beautiful setting of Columbia County, Chatham is a pretty town with plenty to keep a family occupied for a week or more. Take to the trees at Catamount Ski Area for aerial adventures - or skiing in season; visit local farms and meet the animals; hike or cycle local routes or take in some culture in the many and varied performance spaces and theaters of the town. There’s an annual county fair too, plenty of distilleries, wineries and breweries to visit, and state parks to explore a short drive away.
