No.38 was perfect for us. Rooms no.1 was enormous (bathroom as big as some hotel rooms we've stayed in previously!). The breakfast was fantastic; evening turn-down service (biscuits and hot chocolate) was a nice touch; and all round the service couldn't be faulted. Highly recommended

Cheltenham, The Cotswolds

The gateway to the Cotswolds is an enchanting place to spend a weekend or more with kids. Just over two hours west of London, the Regency spa town has beautiful buildings, ravishing boutiques and pretty green spaces. Take the kids to Sandford Parks Lido to swim on a sunny day, tramp trails and feed ducks at Slimbridge, play in Pittville Park, which has a pets corner as well as playgrounds, and don't miss the annual spring festival which has plenty of events and activities for families.
