This beautiful Edwardian terraced house in family-friendly Chiswick is perfectly set-up for a family of 5, or more with additional beds. It’s a large welcoming residence with a light and bright kitchen diner, two large double bedrooms and a single bedroom with a cabin bed. There’s a home gym and a small courtyard garden with a barbecue, and it’s well located next to Southfields playing fields, which has a playground. A gentle afternoon stroll from the house could take you along the Thames, with lovely walking areas and cozy pubs just 30 minutes walk away; it’s around 40 minutes by bus/tube to Oxford Street and the center of London.

What we love

  • It’s a great location in the Bedford Park area of family-friendly Chiswick, near parks and the Thames and with easy access into the city
  • The period features: this Edwardian terrace has painted tiles leading up to the front door, cornicing and original fireplaces
  • The bedrooms are large: with a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom in the eaves (mind your head), and a double bedroom with garden views and a single bedroom on the second floor
  • The single bedroom is set up with a cabin bed and plenty of toys; note that children need to be comfortable climbing a ladder
  • Downstairs, there’s a cozy sitting room with two sofas, a fireplace, wooden floors, coffee table books and a large TV
  • It leads to the chic kitchen-diner, which is large and light, and has a dining table seating up to 8
  • It’s well equipped for family dining, with a coffee machine, oven and stove plus washing machine
  • The kitchen leads to the courtyard garden, which has patio furniture and a barbecue
  • The home gym has a cross trainer and powerplate
