Why Kids Love it

While there are no toys or books for little ones, it’s a great kid-friendly location, full of families. It’s set halfway between Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common, where kids can play in the huge expanse of green parkland, explore the playgrounds, or set up games on the various sports courts.

Things to Know

No smoking, pets or parties. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which must be signed and submitted. The property is a ground floor garden apartment, with another residence located on the floors above.

This residence is located in Clapham, south London. It’s less than 10 minutes’ walk to both Clapham South subway station or Balham overground train station. There are lots of family-friendly pubs and restaurants nearby as this area is very popular with families - take a stroll to Northcote Road (15 minutes’ walk) for weekend markets, eateries, a toy shop and a great ice-cream parlor. Heathrow airport is around 1 hour away by car or train.

Accommodation Details

The property has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, all set on 1 floor. There is a large living/dining room and a separate kitchen with a breakfast bar plus double doors leading to the garden at the back. The primary bedroom boasts a kingsize bed; the second bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom has a shower-over-bath.

Style Notes

Scandi neutral. This calm and restful home is furnished with natural wood materials and neutral relaxing colors to create a serene environment. The all-white kitchen and bathroom look chic and simple, with subtle darker shades in the bedrooms. We love the living room bookshelves, the crittall-style floor mirror and the unique dining chairs.

When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Full refund (less 3% processing fee) when cancelling at least 5 days before arrival, 50% refund if cancelling less than 5 days before arrival.

Green spaces and gastro pubs

Set between Brixton and Battersea, Clapham is a lovely neighborhood just 20 minutes by public transport from the West End, with green spaces, gastro pubs and plenty of local families. Clapham Common is a great place to play, walk dogs and have a picnic in the summer; Battersea Power Station nearby hosts family-friendly events, and it’s just a short bus ride to Battersea Park for its zoo, playground, running tracks and boating pond. Brockwell Lido, nearby is great for a dip in the summer.
