Style Notes

Country chic. This countryside home makes the most of its location, with a stunning blue building looking out over a lawned garden and woodlands. Inside, a cozy living room with wood-burning fire is ideal for winter nights, while the screened porch offers somewhere to relax as a family in the summer. We love the original wood beams in the main living space, the string lights in the porch to add some pretty to summer nights, and the great location.

Copake Lake, Hudson Valley

Lakeside lodges and outdoor fun

This desirable location, a little over a hour north of New York City, is a haven for families, close to ski slopes in winter and with watersports aplenty in the summer. The houses here are beautiful, with large gardens, and the local towns and villages have unique independent shops, farmers markets and family-run cafes. If you like golf, there are plenty of nearby courses, not to mention fun mini golf courses for kids.
