This spacious villa in a peaceful village near Corinth sleeps up to 10 +1 and is within walking distance of a beach. Just over an hour southwest of Athens, the city’s ancient ruins can easily be visited in a day trip, returning to an idyllic location surrounded by olive trees and opening to a private garden filled with outdoor toys for hours of fun. Inside, there is plenty of space for families to spread out and relax. The cheery children’s bedroom is filled with all the toys, puzzles, and games a child could want, with books in English and French. Parents can pack lightly, as a crib, high chair, stroller, car seat, and beach toys are all provided. Stretch out on the hammock while the kids play on the slide, fire up the grill for a family cookout, and enjoy a glass of wine from nearby Nemea on the balcony after the kids are tucked into bed. There is a playground and basketball court a short walk away and, in the summer, an open air cinema showing kids films in the afternoon.

Corinth, Greece Mainland

Ancient ruins and pebble beaches

An ancient port city just under 50 miles southwest of Athens, Corinth is a picturesque port with café-lined promenades, pebble beaches and ancient ruins. Marvel at the monolithic columns of the Temple of Apollo in Ancient Corinth, speed down a winding water slide at the Water Fun theme park, or – if you’re feeling especially courageous – strap on a bungee cord and take a heart-stopping plunge over the famous Corinth Canal.
