I am a producer, my wife Danielle is a jeweler, and and we live with our three kids in Brooklyn and rent out our downstairs apartment. We love to travel and like to stay in homes vs. hotels when possible. We love to cook our own meals and "live like locals". We don't travel as much with the kids as we used to as a couple, but we have taken them to New Zealand; Bali; Hanalei, Hawaii; Sayulita, Mexico; California; Calgary; and the Gulf Islands in BC. And we take them out to Montauk or Shelter Island whenever we get the chance to! We joined Kid & Coe to find nice places to stay when we travel as a family, and also to find like-minded guests to stay in our rental apartment.

Crown Heights, Brooklyn

Bordering Prospect Park and Bed-Stuy in central Brooklyn, Crown Heights has streets of historic brownstones and parks ringing with the sounds of families having fun. Well connected to the rest of the area by public transit, it's an easy place to base yourself in the city. Don't miss the area's key treats - Brooklyn Children's Museum and Brooklyn Botanic Garden - along with Berg'n, a beer/food hall selling everything from pulled pork to burritos.

We had the best time during our stay at The Bergen Street Residence. Our host family was beyond helpful and provided such a lovely home for our family vacation. We had everything we needed during our stay to make traveling with a toddler easy and the neighborhood is so cute. So close to great restaurants and Prospect Park. Thank you for such a great stay.

Very nice and warm place well-located for the Brooklyn Children’s Museum - very comfortable and easy to spend time in. Very helpful and accommodating hosts. Recommend for a family- my 1.5 and 3.5 year olds were fine there.

This was a very comfortable, sunny apartment. We enjoyed our stay and could easily get around brooklyn from our location. Everything in the apartment was well cared for and the family upstairs were friendly and accommodating.
