Live like a local in this high level renovated 2 story brick house conveniently located in Amsterdam’s south axis. This 3 bedroom residence is perfect for families with older children who wish to enjoy a quiet village experience with easy access to Amsterdam city center attractions and dining. After a day spent taking in the nearby museum quarter, sampling fresh waffles at the many street market, or cycling along the canals, head back home and relax by the fire or enjoy a long soak in the jacuzzi. We love this property's quintessential Dutch curb appeal: a stately red brick exterior with a sweet garden up front.

I am a 39 year old interior designer and I live in Amsterdam with my 2 daughters and baby boy (5 and 11 yrs and 6 months) and my husband (35 yrs). Besides hard work we spend our weekend in our beautiful garden(s), at the beach or in our boat on the water. What we appreciate so much from this house is that it combines outside living but right in the middle of the city.

De Goudkust, Amsterdam

The Gold Coast

Nicknamed the 'Gold Coast', this Amsterdam suburb is unique, with wide tree-lined avenues, detached villas and green spaces - as opposed to townhouses fronting canals. It's a charming, peaceful and ultra desirable area to stay in, close to the Beatrixpark in the southwest of the city.
