This detached and sunny house sleeps up to 5 adults, 2 children plus baby and is ideally located on the outskirts of London next to the peaceful Dulwich wood and close to many green parks and playgrounds. A wonderful home away from home - with stylish touches for grown-ups, relaxing garden with hammock, and plenty of games and space for the kids. Crystal Park is a stone’s throw away, with a traditional charm and great eateries and city farm. Hop over to central London is under 20 minutes to catch a show on the West End, wave to the Queen in Buckingham Palace or hit Hamleys toy store, then head back to relax. At night the only thing you’ll hear are owls hooting in the trees. Bliss.

  • The spacious and comfy lounge, with deep L-shaped sofa

We had an amazing trip at The Great Brownings Residence in September. We spent a week there and our 2 year old son could have stayed forever. The house has everything needed and much more, including lots of toys and a garden. Lucy was also extremely helpful and accommodating. We also really enjoyed the calm of the place, while still having very good connection to central London. We highly recommend!

The Great Brownings Residence exceeded our expectations. Tucked away in a very quiet part of London, yet so connected to Central London, we felt like we had the best of both worlds. The home was equipped with all things necessary for young children, as well as adults. We thoroughly enjoyed all it had to offer. Lucy was a joy to work with, very responsive and helpful, providing many useful tips and suggestions, she even lined up a house cleaner for part way through our stay. I would highly recommend this residence to any family looking to travel to London.

Dulwich, London

Lakes, parks and stories

To the south of central London, beyond Battersea and Brixton, the green oasis of Dulwich includes parks with boating lakes and duck ponds and enough play areas to entertain the kids in a different spot every day of the week. It’s about half an hour from London Bridge by train and Tube and was once the home of Enid Blyton.
