Style Notes

Modern Victorian. This fabulous and spacious family home has wonderful living spaces, light-filled lounges and plenty to showcase its history. Dating to 1846, it retains high ceilings and glass-panelled doors, wooden floors and heritage paints. The kitchen is a deep moss green color and is decorated with antique oil paintings. Interior design flair makes this property a real treat: the kids bedroom has many books and toys, and the outside space includes seating, dining areas and lawns. We love the grandeur and antique styling throughout.

Lovely house, warm atmosphere, packed with toys and stuff for kids to play with. The kids did not even want to leave the house because they were too busy playing with all the cars and other toys, dressing up as superheroes, running aroud in the garden and on the trampoline, playing tabletennis and playstation... We loved the house and it's great garden, lovely big kitchen and living room. The house is really spacious, and although it's not super close to London's city centre, the bus that takes you there stops right in front of the house. Hayley is a great host!

East Dulwich, London

Set between Dulwich and Peckham, this south London neighborhood is vibrant, dynamic and leafy at the same time. Just 15 minutes by train from central London, it centers around Lordship Lane, where organic grocery shops and coffee shops make a family stay easy. Don't miss art classes and exhibitions at Dulwich Picture Gallery and seeking out the ruined folly in Sydenham Hill Wood.
