Style Notes

Fresh, light, uncluttered and airy with fun pops of color. The owners love Tom Kelly and Slim Aarons photography so they feature prominently throughout the house. The style is beachy and playful with a strong nod to practicality - there are no sharp edges or precarious lamps. We love the vast, stylish bedrooms, the bright blue loungers around the pool and the yellow dining room chairs.

We are both are lifelong wanderers and travel enthusiasts. Carlie hails from Australia originally, Marc from Connecticut USA. We met at a mutual friend's wedding in Peru. We have both lived in London and Tokyo in addition to our current home in NYC where Marc works in finance and Carlie works in fashion. Now parents to three year old twin boys, we dedicated their first summer to decorating and setting up this home in East Hampton to be a summer sanctuary for young families. Call us crazy but we've already taken the boys on several trips, including Australia, England and France. We'll never lose the travel bug! We hope that fellow wanderers with little kids can enjoy our property when we're not there

East Hampton, The Hamptons

Mansions and main beach

East Hampton is this affluent playground’s most fashionable town, known for its grand houses and estates as much for its readings and exhibitions. The main draw is Main Beach, a beautiful coastline with clean sands, inviting waters, professional lifeguards, plenty of space and millionaire mansions on the banks. LongHouse Reserve, with its enchanting sculpture garden, and Hither Hills State Park are also worth a visit.
