You don’t need to rent a car as everything is easy to walk to, including family-friendly restaurants, parks and terraces. Many of the key attractions of Barcelona are located a short walk away, including La Pedrera and Paseo de Gracia, around 5 minutes’ walk away.

The property is a short walk from the best ice cream shops in the city, along with local parks and playgrounds.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 5 days. The apartment is on the second floor with an elevator. Car rental is not required. There is air conditioning and heating throughout, plus high speed WiFi, a Nespresso coffee machine, sheets and towels, and 3 high chairs on request (Please request babycare essentials, including a baby bath and children’s dinnerware, at time of booking.) Children may need supervision on the balconies in the living room.

About the Location

The residence is in Eixample, an elegant neighborhood in the center of Barcelona with lots of local life. Take a walk or just sit on one of its many terraces to watch the neighbors go by and admire the glorious modernist architecture. The apartment is 10 minutes by taxi from Estación de Sants, 25 minutes from the airport, and there are 3 parks 2 minutes away. There is a subway 300m from the house and the area is very well connected by Barcelona’s bus and metro network TMB.

This 4-bedroom apartment is set over 1 floor and has an elevator. It includes a large living room with dining area, 2 balconies and views of the city, and an open kitchen. There is a primary bedroom with a walk-in closet and a double bed, plus 3 single bedrooms. The bathroom has a shower only.

Style Notes

Catalan chic. This bohemian, colorful and interesting apartment dates to 1890 and has been renovated in a modernist style, typical of the Catalan area. Expect to see ceramic tiles, high ceilings with moldings and plenty of vintage style. The apartment was renovated in 2010, and the kitchen is modern and functional. We love the quirky wallpaper, the beautiful exterior and the great location for a family stay in Barcelona.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Strict: To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours after booking and at least 30 days before the arrival date. If they cancel between 15 and 30 days before the start of the stay, you will receive the amount corresponding to 50% of each night. It may be possible to rearrange stays on request in certain periods - please ask when booking.

Modernist buildings and beautiful boutiques

The narrow medieval streets of the old city become refreshed and modern at Eixample. Expect to see undulating buildings, architectural masterpieces and plenty of examples of Gaudi’s work in the area, including the Sagrada Familia. It’s a very central area with beautiful clothes shops, hip bars and the best of the city’s nightlife.
