This beach house is just a couple of blocks from the beach and provides a great retro-styled hideaway for a family with all conveniences on the doorstep and a hot tub in the backyard. It’s a cheerful place to stay on a quiet street with a farmers’ market 2 blocks away every weekend. The owners kindly provide beach towels, a bike, a surfboard and a boogie board so you can make the most of the local area. The backyard has a secret spa-like feel, with loungers, a barbecue and a private hot tub.

Why Kids Love it

The property is in a great location in a lovely surf/yoga town in SoCal with shops and the beach just a couple of blocks away. Stone Steps, Moonlight, Beacons and Swami’s are just 4 of the beaches nearby. There is a secure back garden with a chalkboard and a lawn at the front of the house - good for children or pets. Toys, books and games are provided plus a small selection of kids DVDs. The residence is well placed for trips to Balboa Park, Disneyland, San Diego Zoo and Legoland.

About the Location

The residence is on a quiet street but close to beach bars and restaurants in Encinitas. It is 30 miles from San Diego International Airport and 30 minutes drive north of San Diego itself. Bedrooms comprise 1 with Tempur Pedic queensize mattress and access to the garden, another with a queensize bed and memory foam mattress, and a third with a bunk bed with fullsize over twin. Style Notes

Beach house. This relaxed and colorful home is ideal with kids, being both close to the beach and stocked with beach kit to make a stay easy. The shades of sand on the wall make it even more clear what you’re here for, while rattan headboard, cork floors and painted wood wall hangings add a natural touch. We love the garden space, with its plants, pebbles and lounging spaces, the modern kitchen and the relaxed vibe.

I am the mother of 2 Toddlers, and the wife to a busy professional. When we are not doing house projects you can find us at the beach, in the woods, or in the sky paragliding. A fun loving family who knows how to work hard and play harder. We split our time between Northern and Southern California.

We had a great stay at Corrine's house in Encinitas. Close walking distance to anything that you need in this wonderful beach town. My family enjoyed walking to the beach and many restaurants nearby. We cannot wait to come back. Thanks again!
