This picturesque five-bedroom stone villa in the Provence, France countryside has beautiful views of the surrounding hills and sleeps up to 12 + 2. The cozy house has a country chic aesthetic, with wicker chairs and antiques sourced from l’Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue. It has been completely refurbished with modern touches, including an eat-in kitchen that opens onto the terrace and covered outdoor dining area. It’s ideal for large families or couples traveling together with children or babies. We love the outdoor pool, stocked with pool toys for leisurely afternoons. The lush lawned garden also has a boules court, sandbox and tree swing, and the kids can play hide-and-seek amongst the trees that dot the landscape.

Happy family of 6, our four kids are 12, 9, and two 4-year old twins. We love so much our family house, the Chemin des Briquets Residence, and enjoy opening it to our guests. Our kids like swimming and walking in the countryside.

Gordes, Luberon

In the foothills of the mountains

Due west of Avignon, Gordes is one of the most beautiful villages in France, perched up on the foothills of the Vaucluse mountains overlooking the Luberon plain. Known as the capital of the Luberon, its ancient houses cling to the hillside and offer tight alleyways and narrow cobblestoned streets to explore. Don’t miss the Tuesday market for handicrafts, souvenirs and fresh produce; it’s a great place to get the kids trying out their best French.

We stayed with 6 adults by 3 kids in this wonderful property and enjoyed every moment. Fantastic assortment of toys in- and outdoor to entertain kids. Nice and well equipped kitchen to serve all kind of meals for the entire family. Overall a great experience anhand a joyful vacation.

We stayed at Chem de Briquets for a wonderful week with a group of friends and 8 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space inside and even more room for the kids to run around outside. The kids had a blast and the parents were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking to have a large, beautiful and safe space for the kids. The pool cover was an awesome safety feature. We even had babysitters come so the adults could get out for the day - kids didn’t want to leave the house!!!

We had an amazing holiday at Lisa & Hervés' beautiful house and hope to visit again in the future. The beautiful setting and fantastic facilities made our first multi-generational holiday a great success! There was plenty of room in the house for our 6 adults and 2 children (3yrs and 1yr) and everything was of high specification and a treat to use. The pool, lovely gardens and multitude of toys meant that we spent most of our time at the house, from early morning swimming to stargazing over wine, and enjoying every meal outside. The layout of the house is perfect for toddlers and less-mobile adults, so we were all happy and able to relax and enjoy ourselves. highly recommended!

Back in Amsterdam for 2 weeks now and we still miss the Chemin des Briquets house very much. Our 10-adults-5-babies group had an amazing time. Everything was as described and photographed. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen has more than you will ever need. All the toys made the kids' stay entertaining and creative. The fun/lazy afternoons by the swimming pool were the best. I also cherish the memories of our evening rituals: feeding the babies on the terrace in the sunset light, playing boules with a glass of rose and having endless dinners on the large outdoor table. If you ever feel the need to leave the house, the area is packed with beautiful villages. Thanks again to Lisa & friends for having us at their residence.

We had the great fortune of staying here in June and it was a delight! The house is stunning, each room is beautifully decorated and the kitchen /living area is perfect for cooking whilst enjoying the company of family. We had 4 adults and 4 children ranging from 15months to 5 yrs and the house had cots, high chairs, baby baths and lots of toys and movies to entertain. The pool is a beautiful salt water feature that was, for the children, the highlight of the trip! The garden is beautifully maintained with fruit trees, boules and lots of space to run. The area of Gordes is simply stunning, the town has a market on Tuesday, where we stocked up on wine, cheese and bread! We explored the narrow cobbled streets (not suitable for strollers...take a sling if you have a small baby) took day trips to the local Abbey to see the lavender fields and ejoyed the local restaurants. Our time at Lisa & Hervés beautiful home was everything we wanted and more.
