My husband and I reside in Greenpoint Brooklyn with our very active red headed toddler. We spend our free time at the park, the library, and the multitude of museums the city has to offer. We frequent the farmers markets and cook most of our meals at home, eating in the back yard when weather permits. Lovers of travel, we spend a good deal of time visiting family, friends, and new places around the globe.

Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Green space, skyline views and kids events

Bordered by Williamsburg to the southwest, this northernmost of Brooklyn’s neighborhoods is not as hipster-led but just as family-friendly. Transmitter and McCarren Parks provide green space and skyline views; Polish restaurants provide the energy to keep going and free kids events abound at all points of the calendar.
