Style Notes

This historic home has classic country charm with simple, tasteful design. Characterful wood trim and wood floors with white walls and many windows for natural light. Wing chairs and tufted ottoman in the living room and a separate formal dining room add a touch of sophistication. We love the large outdoor space to run and play and the red exterior with wraparound porch and custom awning.

We are a family of 5. We love the beach, skiing, eating, and traveling. We joined Kid & Coe because we understand traveling as a family is different.

This house was a great getaway for 3 small families (1 child each) in the fall in the North Fork. The decor is modern and simple, but the house is old and charming with all kinds of interesting nooks and crannies that fascinated the kids (but were very safe!). The weather was rainy so we didn't really get to enjoy the big backyard but it looked great! Hosts were very welcoming and nice - would stay again!

Beach houses and easy living

Getting away from it all is easy in Greenport - the only question is whether you want to be by the beach, on the ocean or driving quiet country roads in search of farm-fresh food. Centring around its marina, the village has a handful of museums and a vintage carousel, while nearby you’ll discover vineyards, beaches, and nature preserves.
