There is a large kitchen with a table that can sit 8, a lounge and a basement playroom with toys for 2-3 year olds. Style Notes

Modern and welcoming. Renovated 2 years ago to a design by renowned architect Carl Turner, the Scandinavian inspired interiors are open and airy. Huge window boxes in the kitchen connect the inside to outside spaces and open roof height and skylights on the first floor provide day long natural light throughout the property. The basement has been reclaimed as a playroom and TV room, ideal for little people. The overall feel of the property is modern and fresh. We love the design elements in the children’s room, from mobiles to graphic posters and an oversized Miffy light, and the sleek family bathroom.

Hackney, London

Butterflies and a petting farm

This borough of northeast London is great for families, within easy reach of central London by Tube and with plenty to see and do, from London Fields Lido to Hackney City Farm. Clissold Park has a great kids play area and a butterfly tunnel, and if it rains, there are soft play areas and the Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green to dive into.
