Just around the corner from one of London’s most notable panoramic views, this family friendly home lies at the base of Hampstead Heath. It sleeps 6. Famed for its uninterrupted views across the city skyline, Parliament Hill boasts vistas that encompasses the Houses of Parliament, Shard and St Paul’s Cathedral - just a few minutes’ walk from the doorstep. With easy access to the city yet set in a leafy, residential setting, this is the perfect base to explore the capital.

Why Kids Love it

While this home doesn't have toys or books for little children, the big draw in this area is Hampstead Heath itself - there are acres and acres of green spaces to explore with the kids. You’ll find a farmers market, tennis courts, swimming ponds, playgrounds, and of course, those famous views. It’s just 10 minutes by taxi to London Zoo and Regents Park, and half an hour away from the Warner Bros Studios (for Harry Potter tours), located just outside of London.

Things to Know

No smoking, pets or parties. Please note, there is a small flight of stairs up to the rooms when you enter this home. The top floor bedroom has an open staircase at the entrance which is not gated. The roof terrace is fenced but younger children should be supervised at all times.

About the Location

This residence is located at the foot of Parliament Hill, in Hampstead Heath. It’s 10 minutes’ walk to Belsize Park underground station and 8 minutes from Hampstead Heath train station. This area is well connected to the city with access to Mayfair, Soho or the City in less than half an hour by underground. It’s also well-placed to visit the desirable neighborhoods of Primrose Hill, St Johns Wood and Highgate - all 10 minutes’ drive.

Accommodation Details

The property has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, occupying the top 3 floors of the building. At the entrance level you’ll find the open plan living/dining room and the kitchen. Upstairs, the primary bedroom boasts a kingsize bed and the second bedroom features a double bed. The top floor bedroom has a double sofabed and a desk for home working. The family bathroom has a bathtub with an overhead shower and there’s also a second shower room.

Style Notes

Updated Victorian. This home is full of period details and historic charm, updated with subtle Scandinavian minimalist styling to create a contemporary, clean interior. The exposed white brickwork in the living area perfectly complements the original black fireplace, while marble tiling adds opulence in the family bathroom. We love the rustic white wooden floorboards in the bedrooms, the rich blue hues of the top bedroom and the delightful high ceilings.
