We are a Norwegian/ German family: Erik, Andrea and Dagny. We work with contemporary art and love to travel to keep ourselves updated but also for pure pleasure. Dagny is a cute 8 year old girl who always joins us on our travels. We do not like normal hotels and have done some very successful home exchanges over the last 7 years. We have stayed in private homes in Guatemala, New York City, Puerto Rico, Sicily, Bankok and several times on the French Riviera. We now look forward to experiencing kidandcoe. Our home is a very big 170 square meter 5room city apartment. We also have a safe backyard garden that you can overlook from our sunny balcony. We love nice design and good quality furniture and toys. Since we work with art we are very visual people and love our environments sober and beautiful. We feel that our home manages the combination of stylish but also super child friendly and relaxed. We love that quality in other homes as well.

Our family of 4 had an absolutely wonderful time at the Parkveien residence. It is filled with light and art and was especially spacious. There were toys and books for the kids, and a nice kitchen for preparing meals. It was a very relaxing place to stay while in Oslo. Andrea was also a magnificent host, responding to me within minutes most of the time when I had questions.

Andrea's apartment is clean, comfortable, quiet, modern and full of artful touches. The location is just steps from public transportation, as well as many great restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Andrea was very responsive and accommodating! We had everything we needed for our infant son!

Hegdehaugsveien, Oslo

Museums, parkland and coffee houses

In the center of the action, this district of Oslo includes Castle Park, the National Theatre, the National Museum, full of Munch paintings, and a lot of beautiful residential buildings painted in candy colors. It's easy to walk from here to almost everywhere else in the city, and it's just 4km north of the Old Town and the main rail station.
