Born and bred in London and married to a Brazilian! My husband Caio and I met in Switzerland while both studying Hotel Management at Les Roches School of Hotel Management. We shared the same vision of innovating within the industry and making it a better place to work and improve guest experiences. This led to us establishing our own company in 2012 and Merino Hospitality was born. That was followed one year later by the birth of our first son Jonas, so it was a busy period in the Merino household! We all love to travel and Jonas has already been on 12 flights across the Atlantic in his 2 short years! Our favourite destination as a family was Anna Maria Island in Florida and as a couple we loved Singapore. Jonas is mad about anything to do with Minions and the wall stickers in the secret kids den are a tribute to him! Currently his favourite thing to do is going to the farm to see all the animals and being read to - his favourite story is The Jungle Book! We joined Kid & Coe to offer our house to families seeking a city break in London in a family friendly environment. Having a child of our own helps us to understand what parents (and children) look for during a holiday. Hotels do not offer the space for family socialising and work out more expensive as you often need multiple rooms. Plus, who wants to be tucked up in bed at 7pm with the kids, all cramped in the same room, when you could be having a glass of wine and watching a movie while they are sound asleep - the perfect wind down after a day sightseeing in our great capital! Welcome to the world of Merino Hospitality, our doors are open to welcome you - step into the adventure!

I recently stayed at the Eye of London with my husband and our 21-month old toddler. We stayed for a week and loved it. The location was very central and safe, allowing us to be within walking distance of the Covent Garden, Soho, and other nearby tourist areas/attractions, whilst also allowing us to go "home" to a quiet neighborhood (mostly commercial and academic area so the weekend was pretty quiet but weekdays were bustling). The apartment was extremely clean, spacious, and quiet (my toddler slept extremely well!). The beds were also quite comfortable. The apartment provided all amenities, including premium toiletries, wifi, Netflix, guide books, power adaptors, and a welcome basket of food (including fresh fruit, milk, juice, bread, bottle of wine) for us adults; a stroller, high chair, crib, and toys/books for the baby. Washer/dryer worked perfectly and a safe is also provided. Caio and Louise were great hosts. We highly recommend!!

Holborn, London

The Midtown of London

Right in the heart of London, Holborn is known for its great pubs, proximity to London Universities (LSE is right down the street) and law courts. A short walk from the Thames, St Paul’s Cathedral, the West End and plenty more besides, if you want to be in the thrilling heart of the city, this is the place for you. Kids will love Covent Garden, a short walk away, along with the Museum of London, which runs great family trails and events.
