Parents will love the upper-floor suite here, where you can escape for some privacy, as well as the leafy green garden - the perfect place for your morning coffee. It’s also a really fun part of the city, with Islington, Shoreditch and Dalston all nearby, known as great neighborhoods for vibrant nightlife, good food and weekend pop-up markets.

Please note the downstairs room has a trundle bed which can make a double or two singles. The downstairs bedroom has doors leading to the garden.

About the Location

The duplex is located in Islington, north London. It’s 10 minutes’ walk to Essex Road overground train station and Canonbury Road subway station. It’s around 15 minutes’ walk to the bustling Kingsland Road in the east, and the vibrant Upper Street if you head west. Both areas offer a huge choice of shops, pubs, eateries and more. It’s around half an hour by train into central London. Heathrow airport is around 1.5 hours away by car or train; Stansted airport is 1 hour’s drive.

The property has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. The ground floor has an open plan layout, with a living/dining space which leads to the kitchen. This floor also has the second bedroom, with a single trundle bed (plus another single underneath, sleeping 2 in total) and an ensuite bathroom (with walk-in shower). Style Notes

Boho charm. This eccentric residence blends a range of colors, fabrics and artefacts from around the world. The hosts have used warm contrasting hues for each room which complements the architectural features (such as the traditional fireplaces and windows). We love the metal spiral staircase, the antique grandfather clock and the inspirational artwork on the walls.

Islington, London

Boutiques, bars and Ottolenghi

This desirable North London suburb has great family appeal. A short hop on the Tube from Central London, it’s a great location for a family break in the city, with a buzzing high street, interesting shops and cafés down Camden Passage, and Regent’s Park and London Zoo nearby too.
