Jaffa, Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv's ancient port

Also known as Yafo, Jaffa is one of the most ancient parts of Tel Aviv and has narrow streets, courtyards and an excess of atmosphere. The flea market is a popular haunt and the area's winding streets are home to unique boutiques and stores. Take the kids to the port, where fishermen still haul in a daily catch, then walk through Abrasha Park and take in the views before an afternoon at the beach.
