Central to urban exploring and outdoor fun, take long strolls along the greenway/boulevards, go for a run by the river, or visit the neighborhood playground or Ijams Nature Reserve. Kid-friendly restaurants, library story-hour and close-by Dollywood theme park make Knoxville a special treat.

Things to Know

Our family lives in beautiful Knoxville, TN in an historic neighborhood situated along the banks of the Tennessee River. We adore our favorite city and can't wait to help families discover the urban parks, farm-to-table restaurants, live music and gritty charm of Knoxville. My husband is a musician and we're always open to sharing the best spots to see our local musicians play around town. With our toddler in tow, we love to travel and discover the world.

We loved this house! The location is close to downtown Knoxville but tucked away in a cute, quiet neighborhood. The house is in walking distance of the river and 5-10 minute drive from multiple grocery stores. My daughter loved all the toys and we loved the dedicated playroom. The outside space was lovely. We had dinner out there almost every night. The house was very clean, organized, and had everything we needed. There were even little toiletries left for us in the bathroom. Christina was so nice and responded very quickly to all emails and texts. We had such a great time. Would definitely recommend.

Knoxville, Tennessee

Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains

A lively urban outdoor oasis, Knoxville is set at the foothills of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and home to The University of Tennessee. Enjoy the walkable city surrounded by public parks and miles of trails and boulevards. Catch a UT game at the stadium, explore Market Square historical district for farmer's markets, fountains and niche shops, and rock to a live performance by country songstress Dolly Parton at Dollywood themepark, if you're lucky.
