We are an English/Italian family of 4 living on beautiful Lake Garda in Northern Italy. We love travelling and exploring new places whenever we can. We also love the outdoors. Some of our favourite things are cycling, ski-ing, beaching, walking, horse-riding and BBQ-ing!

We've enjoyed a lovely holiday in the Fondrini Residence at Lake Garda. Great property with everything a family with three young kids could wish for. Totally relaxing to have the kids play in the garden while relaxing in the hammock or the lounge chairs. Emma was extremely helpful and responded to any queries we had instantly. The house is in a quiet part of the small village Padenghe sul Garda, from which you can get easily to places like Salò, Desenzano and Sirmione. Plenty of nice restaurants in the area, Emma had provided a list of personal recommendations which we tried (and approved !) most of. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a 'home away from home' experience.

Lake Garda, Italian Lakes

Watersports and cappuccinos

Italy’s largest lake is ripe for an unforgettable family vacation. Try canoeing and other water sports on its crystal clear waters, drive scenic routes and visit medieval castles, or just sip cappuccinos while the kids paddle at the water’s edge. Gardaland is a particular family favorite, Italy’s largest theme park with rollercoasters for all the family, and Parco Natura Viva, a nearby zoo, offers a drive-through experience. Don’t miss the cable car up Monte Baldo, reached from Malcesine on Lake Garda, for bird’s eye views.
