Style Notes

Modern with a mixture of vintage and contemporary furnishings and an array of beautiful unique design touches. Many items are memories of the hosts’ travels with ideas coming from everywhere. There are Scandinavian design touches with a nod to Muuto and Hay designs. The luminous white walls pair with the color to add zing. We love the floating bookshelves in the lounge, the coffee table with built-in plant holders and the mix of colored chairs around the dining room table.

Lausanne , Switzerland

Mountains, chocolate and lakeside fun

On the shores of Lake Geneva in the southwest of Switzerland, French-speaking Lausanne is a haven for kids and adults alike. Take day trips to mountain resorts, ski areas and chocolate factories, or explore museums, toys shops and family-friendly spa resorts. In the summer, there are beaches and open air swimming pools on Lake Geneva, while the snowy delights of the French alps are just 45 minutes away in winter.
