Bathe in the Pemigewasset River or at the Village of Loon's outdoor and indoor pools, play a round of mini golf, go zip-lining in downtown Lincoln, take a hike at the Flume Gorge or spend some time exploring Woodstock's cute shops. And when you’re ready to relax, this cozy cabin retreat is the perfect place to recharge.

Why Kids Love it

Kids of all ages love exploring the woods nearby, as well as the wonderfully easy access to skiing (and hiking for older kids and teens). Loon is a very family friendly mountain in both summer and fall with lessons and activities for all ages. The community pool center has 5 pools and 5 Jacuzzis (a combination of indoor and outdoor), as well as tennis courts, basketball courts, and a playground. For downtime indoors, the house comes with games, coloring materials and plenty of toys - there’s a storage unit on the middle floor landing full of kids toys to enjoy - and they’ll love relaxing on the cozy pop-up couch at the end of a long day on the slopes or in the great outdoors. Kids might like to explore a trip to Clark’s Bears animal park or Whale’s Tale Waterpark (both 10 minutes’ drive).

Things to Know

Minimum stay varies by season, please inquire. There is a number lock for entry (no key necessary), which makes it easy for people in your group to come and go on their own schedule. There are 2 parking spaces dedicated to the unit just outside the front door, as well as additional visitor spaces nearby - car rental is essential. The hosts have a membership to the Village of Loon Pool and Fitness Center (with indoor/outdoor pools, Jacuzzis, sports courts and the workout gym area - ask for details when booking). The house is pet friendly (up to 2 dogs are welcome on request) so not suitable for guests with allergies. The Smart TV has internet apps like Hulu/Netflix and basic cable.

About the Location

This townhome is located in the Clearbook community, 2 minutes from Loon Mountain Ski Resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire. Loon Mountain Resort offers ski trails, terrain parks, tubing runs, gondola rides, ice skating and sledding, as well as zip lines and hiking trails in summer. On weekends guests can access a ski shuttle to Loon Mountain 2 minutes away. Downton North Woodstock (5 minutes’ drive) offers a choice of grocery stores, shops, restaurants, breweries and wineries, as well as the White Mountains Visitor Center. There is also an outdoor adventure park (Alpine Adventures), Hobo Railroad vintage railway and kid-friendly adventure golf center. It’s 2 hours 15 minutes from Boston's Logan International Airport.

Accommodation Details

This residence has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 4 floors. There is a mudroom at the entrance (where you can drop your outdoor gear). Downstairs on the lower level there are 2 bedrooms: a children’s bedroom with 2 bunk beds (sleeping 4) and another guest room with a queensize bed plus a twin bed (sleeping 3). There is also a laundry room and a full bathroom on this floor. Upstairs to the main level, there is an open plan living area, complete with a fireplace and dining table seating 12, opening to the kitchen area, which is fully equipped with new countertops and cabinets. This level also has a small deck with a new propane gas grill. Half a flight of stairs up there is a queensize bedroom; continue up another half flight of stairs to the final bedroom, which has a queensize bed, sleeper chair and ensuite bathroom. The views from this room are gorgeous!

Style Notes

Contemporary chalet. This newly-renovated home has lots of natural light, complemented by the host’s choice of light-colored tones and natural wood materials. The open concept living area has stunning cathedral ceilings to add to the feeling of space, while the cozy sectional has pop-up support to make for a comfortable lounging space. We love the warming splashes of navy and red, adding color to the chic modern palette, as well as the cozy wood wall panelling and the bold red exterior windows which create a contemporary, industrial-style look.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at Nicole's home. It was beautifully furnished and spread over multiple levels. Very convenient to skiing at Loon and plenty of room for two families with three kids each. Nicole was super responsive and helpful as well. We would go back in heartbeat next winter!
