This light and spacious 3-bedroom apartment with a garden is set just to the north of central Lisbon and includes a playroom, outdoor dining and a family bathroom. Well set up for a stay with younger children, this sunny and beautiful apartment allows you to explore Lisbon while the garden and the bright living area provide tranquility for the family to relax. It is very family-friendly. There is a full open plan kitchen making it easy to to prepare food while keeping kids in sight and entertained, 2 dining spaces (indoor and outdoor) for up to 8 people and 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub and the other with a shower).

Why Kids Love it

The house has plenty of toys and books especially good for kids aged under 5. The playroom is bright and colorful with a little kids kitchen and there are kids bikes, tricycles and scooters to play with outside. A travel crib, high chair, baby bath and stroller can be provided free of charge. Within walking distance you can find the zoo, considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. It is an easy metro, train or bus ride into the city, ideal for transport-mad tots. Lisbon’s many child-friendly attractions include an aquarium and beaches a few train stops away.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 5 nights. The host needs a minimum of 7 days notice to arrange a stay. There is a €250 security deposit in cash at check in which will be returned at check out provided there is no damage to the property. Strictly no smoking and no pets; you may smoke in the garden only. WiFi is included. There is a washer/dryer, a Nespresso machine and a ipod player. Cleaning services can be arranged for an additional fee.

About the Location

The apartment is located in Sete Rios, a secluded residential neighborhood in Lisbon with easy access to the metro, train and bus (5 minutes’ walk away). All the major attractions in Lisbon are just a 10 minute public transport ride away and within walking distance you can find the zoo. There is a free parking space at the entrance although car hire is not essential for stays within the city - public transport is reliable. Lisbon airport is a 15-minute drive.

Accommodation Details

This residence is a 1-floor apartment with 3 bedrooms and a private garden with a sitting area and a table up to 8 people. The main living space is open plan and includes a kitchen, lounge and dining space, with fireplace and direct access to the garden. It has an ensuite master bedroom with a walk-in-closet, a kid’s room with 2 twin size beds (suitable for ages 2-7), a third bedroom used as a playroom (plus optional air bed), and a family bathroom with tub.

Style Notes

Modern European. The apartment has a Scandinavian-style look, light and sunny with large windows in every room and a calm palette of colors. It is a stylish and uncluttered apartment with wooden flooring and white walls. There is a spacious living area, cozy bedrooms and a lovely front garden. We love the kids playroom, with the kitchen and toy stroller for role play games, the natural colors and materials used throughout and the unique touches, including newspaper-print seats.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

We had a beautiful time in this lovely home in Lisbon. The house is filled with light and has a nice layout with the children’s room, playroom and bathroom being on one end of the living/dining area and the master bedroom and bath being on the other end. The children appreciated the little garden out front and we all adored the tiny hidden street the house is situated on - it felt like we were on a little island yet were in the city. Sofia was a wonderful hostess and made sure our transition to the house started out well and we had what we needed. Lisbon is a delightful city and having a lovely space to return to made the trip extra special.

We had a wonderful stay in Sofia’s home june. Our two year old daughter loved the playroom filled with toys and it was so lovely to have access to a garden and outside space. It was an easy walk to the metro to get into Lisbon and the beautiful interiors made it feel like a home away from home. Communication was great from the start, I’d happily return for another stay!
