This beautifully remodeled house sits on a cul-de-sac street near Santa Monica’s Sunset Park and sleeps up to 8 + 1 in 4 bedrooms. With a park and playground behind the property, playing fields and sports courts, and a 15-minute walk to the beach, it’s ideal for families visiting this part of the city. Restaurants and shops on Main Street Santa Monica, Ocean Park Blvd. or Venice's Rose Avenue are 15 minutes away on foot.

Why Kids Love it

The house is located on a dead end street, making it a great place for throwing a football or scootering around. The park behind the house is another great space to play. Plenty of toys are on offer and lots of arts and crafts materials are available. A Playstation can be made available for older kids and streaming apps are provided for media time. Beach items can be made available on request.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 5 nights. The price is negotiable for anything over a 2-week stay. Monthly rates are available. The house is over 2 stories with kids bedrooms on a different floor from adult bedrooms. There are no stair gates. There is a TV and DVD player as well as all streaming services and a Playstation. Car hire is useful but not 100% necessary with reliable public transit nearby and plenty within walking distance including the beach.

About the Location

The house backs on to a playing field with a golf course nearby and is in a quiet cul de sac. It is approximately 5 minutes south of downtown Santa Monica by car, and 20 minutes from LAX in a walkable destination. The beach is 15 minutes away on foot and the Santa Monica Pier and Promenade are easily accessed by bus, with a stop 5 blocks away.

Accommodation Details

This large family home has 2 bedrooms with king size beds on the first floor, 2 kids bedrooms with full sized beds on the second floor, 2 full bathrooms on the first floor and 1 bathroom with shower and tub on the second floor. Additional rooms: upstairs playroom, office, TV room with extra large queensize sofa bed, living room and gourmet kitchen with breakfast area. The backyard has a petanque court, firepit, hammock and BBQ.

Style Notes

Bright, modern and new. Warm and welcoming decor with some beautiful hand-picked architectural details and mid century modern touches. The home was newly remodeled in 2014. We love the outdoor space with its fun petanque court, the serene master bedroom and the light-filled gourmet kitchen and dining area.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
