This wonderful family home on Dorset’s Jurassic coast sleeps 4 adults, 4 children and 1 infant, and is a perfect holiday destination by the English seaside. Just three miles from Lyme Regis - nicknamed ‘the The Pearl of Dorset’ - it’s a heady mix of coast and country, surrounded by fields of cows, sheep, wild pheasant and rabbits and has sea views from the upstairs sitting room and balcony. The house itself is a hybrid of original features and modern design, with a large family kitchen and dining table, boutique bedrooms and log burners for winter evenings. A perfect day might be fossil hunting on the nearby Charton Bay beach, followed by fish and chips from one of the many delightful local eateries.

Hi there We are a fun family of 5, with three kids aged 3,7,11. We have lived in the Lyme Regis, Dorset for the last 9 years. We love our beautiful house Charton Rise which has modern rustic feel making it a wonderful spacious family home. It's a great house in both seasons, the sea & country views are amazing rain or shine. Cosy fires in the winter and hammocks in the summer! Have fun viewing! Thanks Michelle, Steve Biba, Nico & Tiggyx

Lyme Regis, Dorset

Beaches and buried fossils

East of Exeter and west of Weymouth, slap in the middle of England’s Jurassic coastline, Lyme Regis is a town that’s never short of visitors. Be sure to visit the local Blue Lias cliffs and the medieval lepers well, then swing your legs from the iconic harbour or cobb wall, making sure the seagulls don’t fly off with your ice cream.
