Madrid, Spain

The capital of Spain

From picking up new tastes in tapas bars to zooming down waterslides at great speed, Spain’s capital city is great for families. While the elegant architecture and fine art galleries draw older visitors, younger children will enjoy the Casa do Campo more - a park with a zoo, aquarium and large amusement park within it. On a hot day, take a boat on the lake at Retiro Park or head out of the city to the Aquópolis water park; on a rainy day, meet the dinosaurs at the Natural Science Museum or see stars at the Planetarium.
