The residence has access to a pool 5 minutes' walk away. Grocery stores, restaurants, spas and high-end shopping are within walking distance. Stroll on the strand and explore the open-air mall and farmer’s market stalls for an alternative to a beach day.

Why Kids Love it

From white sand beaches, local parks and public swimming pools to bicycling or skating the boardwalk and enjoying the colorful street art, kids will love being in the center of Miami’s South Beach. They can enjoy the building’s gaming console, relax to a family movie on the large, hanging flat screen TV, and feel at home in the twin bed set up, well suited for kids. Gather seaglass, boogie board the waves, or venture to the Botanical Garden. A high chair is available upon request.

Minimum stay: 2 nights, maximum stay: 14 nights. The condo is located on one of the higher floors, tucked away from any street noise. Casa Grande is a condo building where all units are individually owned. Elevator and concierge service available. Access to free WiFi and building’s gaming console. Complimentary pool for guest’s use at Flamingo Park, a 5-minute walk. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, air conditioning and parking available. Babysitting services are available.

About the Location

This residence is on Ocean Drive, in South Beach Miami’s Art Deco district. Known for its Art Deco hotels and designer fashion, Ocean Drive is home to 900 preserved buildings. It is a walkable district. Stay north for the best family-friendly beaches, or rent solar-powered bikes to cruise the boardwalk and landmark historic properties. Car hire is not necessary. Miami International Airport is a 25-minute car ride, and affordable flat-rate taxi ride.

This 3-bedroom apartment is set up with a living room, kitchen with eat-in bar and barstools, bath with tub/shower, and 3 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with 2 kingsize beds, 2 smaller bedrooms with 2 twin beds each. Living room can convert into fourth bedroom with 3 designer daybeds, each sleeping 1 guest. The apartment is part of a condo building with complimentary pool for guest’s use at Flamingo Park.

Style Notes

White and bright, the natural light, large mirrors and 7-foot Art Deco designed glass block partition wall creates an airy, open feel in this urban space. We love the modern decor, pops of green, contemporary daybeds and Parsons tables. Tile flooring and white linens are simple to maintain for a comfortable stay. Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

Great location! Recommend letting renters know you can’t access Ocean Drive by car - you need to park on a garage or street park and schlep all your stuff to the building. Also let renters know 2 of the bedrooms have no doors. Finally, it’s SoBe - so you expect it to be loud, but we had a situation where the people next door were blasting music at 4am; we had to go downstairs and ask the front desk person to handle the situation - which she did. Despite this, we had a great time!

Beasts and beauties

From the beautiful people sunning themselves on Miami’s beaches to the swish of Art Deco buildings, Miami Beach is a real stunner. It’s no wonder so many families vacation here - it’s a balmy place to visit and easy with children in tow. Kids will particularly love the free-range animals at the MetroZoo, the alligators in the Everglades and the dolphins, parrots and monkeys in other stellar wildlife parks, not to mention the world-class rollercoasters and theme parks all within easy reach of the city. Jungle Island Zoo, on Watson Island nearby, even has a giant lizard called Godzilla.
