She can attend 3 days a week as per her usual schedule for an additional fee - listed rates cover cleaning before arrival and on departure.

Why Kids Love it

The house is appealing to toddlers and older kids due to the open space, front and back yard, pool area and front swing. The sunny playroom is a favorite space for fun and games and is well stocked with toys and creative art supplies. There is a child safety enclosure around the pool, which can be removed. Within walking distance there is a great tot lot and parks. Pirate Cove Water slide park for local residents nearby can be used. The kids room has a single bed.

Things to Know

This 2 story home has stairs - they are not steep and can be managed easily by toddlers/kids. Outlets have safety covers. There are a few child safety locks in kitchen cabinets, such as under the sink where cleaning products reside. The home is safe and located in a family-friendly beautifully tree-filled neighborhood. Car hire is helpful for this area. A nanny and cleaning lady are available on request for an additional fee. Grocery/food items can also be arranged in advance of arrivals. Just let your host know.

About the Location

Miami Shores is a tree-lined neighborhood with historic homes in one of Miami's oldest neighborhoods. It is well located close to arts, restaurants, parks and beaches while maintaining its family village feel and character. We are a muti-cultural family that lives in Miami, FL. We love exploring new places & sharing the world first hand with our daughter. As we are passionate about food, wine and becoming part of the culture of the places we visit, we love traveling this way. We have a tendency to actually meet and sometimes make life long friends with our guests. The excitement of travel and of experiencing a place for the first time as a local gets our senses activated and inspires us. Rather than gifts for the holidays, we always choose a trip. We are flexible, easy going, well educated and well traveled. English, Portugues and Spanish are spoken in our home. It makes for and interesting communication. It also gives us an edge to pick up and learn languages on our travels. We are now dabbling in Italian and a little French. We are fortunate to have our own Coaching and Business Consulting Company and be able to work with amazing and varied people, companies and locations.

Fernanda & Pablo were amazing hosts. They were always available to chat prior to our stay and during our stay. Their home was beautiful and the perfect place for our family for two weeks. Having arrived a week after a hurricane - Pablo & Fernanda did everything in their power to getting the garden and surrounding area back to shape after a bit of a beating - it's these little details that you would be hard to find in other hosts. The house has everything you need for an easy stay and a very cosy home. We would take Uber's whenever we wanted to explore as we like to walk most of the time, nowhere took longer than 20mins door to door. The neighbourhood was so cute and everyone was very friendly. We loved our stay so much and couldn't complain about a thing, only thing to note is that we would of like to of been a little closer walking distance to things (but that's just our own preference no fault of the home) We feel we have made great connections with Fernanda and her family and hope to visit them in the future. What a great experience we can't thank them enough for allowing us to share their home.

We are totally smitten with this house, the area and the family. Miami Shores is a lovely, safe and quiet residential area, super close to the gorgeous beaches of North Miami and the up-and-coming arts district of Wynnwood. The house is beautifully decorated, with modern appliances and furniture, as well as curated art pieces. The pool area is straight out of a magazine, so much so that it makes it hard to leave the house at all. As for the hosts, Fernanda was extremely helpful and friendly, reached out right after the booking was confirmed with details and stayed in touch regularly until we got there. She was also very responsive whenever we had questions. Her friendly neighbor handled check-in/heck-out and was also available throughout our stay to help with anything we needed. Overall, I can't say enough wonderful things about this place - we hope to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Shores Residence! The home is very pretty and extremely comfortable, with a beautiful, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of clean linens and lots of toys for the kids. We absolutely loved hanging out in the backyard, and the neighborhood is quiet and very pretty. It was a great location for visiting the Design District and Wynwood, and an easy Uber ride to all the beaches. Also very close to Whole Foods, Publix, CVS and other amenities. Fernanda made every effort to ensure that we had a wonderful stay, and her communication before and during our trip was much appreciated. It was also very nice that her cleaning woman was able to come during our week there. Highly, highly recommended -- we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Our stay at the Shores was perfect. This family clearly takes great care in their home from the chef's kitchen to the wonderful kid-friendly backyard. It is so nice to be on vacation but have the high end amenities we are used to at home. The pictures don't do the house justice, and the location is ideal. It was perfect for our family and our boys (2 and 5) cried when we had to go. Thanks Fernanda and Pablo!
