This is a bustling, youth-centric area with lots of vibrant events, galleries, shops and eateries to explore: take the subway up to popular Victoria Park (15 minutes) and on to the trendy weekend food markets at Broadway or head east into Aldgate where you can wander up Brick Lane, with its multi-cultural food options, famous bagel shops and urban art installations.
Why Kids Love it
While there are no toys or books for little ones here, it’s a fun part of the city for families to explore, with lots of parks and playgrounds nearby. For younger kids, visit the Discovery Children’s Center (5 minutes by subway to Stratford) or the V&A Children’s Museum in Bethnal Green (10 minutes by subway). It’s also just 15 minutes to Spitalfields City Farm - an animal oasis in the city!

The apartment is located in the vibrant and down-to-earth Mile End in East London. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Mile End subway station, for access around the city, and just 2 blocks from Mile End Park, which boasts a leisure center, skate park, go-karting arena and sports courts. It’s 5 minutes by subway to Stratford, where you’ll find a huge Westfield Shopping Center and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home of the London 2012 Olympics. Stansted, Heathrow and Luton airports are around 1 hour by train.

The primary bedroom boasts a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with an impressive shower, while the second bedroom also has a kingsize bed. The main bathroom has a striking standalone tub.
