Baker Ski Area is 30 miles away, with record snow falls and terrific slopes and trails.

Why Kids Love it

This cabin is particularly good for those with children aged over 6 - younger children are welcome but note there are few items provided especially for babies and toddlers. There is plenty of room for playing outdoors in the Mt. Baker Recreation Area which is a year-round playground. In summer, kids can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, freshwater fishing (lake and river), whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. In winter, there are ski slopes under an hour’s drive away with downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding.

Style Notes

Country cabin. This woodsy cabin is in prime position to enjoy the wilderness, with no WiFi or phone signal to disturb your back to nature retreat. Pine cabinets line the full kitchen and through the house there are lots of windows to bring in natural light and provide views of the surrounding area. We love the set up for adventurous kids, the cozy loft at the top where they can chat together at night, and the outstanding outdoor activities on the doorstep.
