Perks for the Parents

This spacious apartment with a terrace is in one of the greenest areas of Rome and is well connected by bus and tram to the city at large. The beautiful terrace on the penthouse floor is close to the large, modern kitchen and an ideal place for the kids to play while you cook supper. The city views from this terrace, which has a hanging chair, are wonderful.

Why Kids Love it

The children’s bedroom is large and spacious, with plenty of toys for little girls plus a number of books. Little EUR park, five minutes away, is a great place to play. The residence has plenty to make the stay easier, including kids dishes and a travel crib. While there is no garden, children can happily play on the terrace.

Things to Know

There are modern ungated stairs without a rail from the kitchen to the upper floor - younger children will need supervision. The terrace is fully child safe and fenced. The residence is on the 5th and 6th floors of an apartment building. There is a food market a minute away.

About the Location

The apartment is 20 minutes from Rome Fiumicino airport and 15 minutes from Ostiense train station. It is around 20 minutes south by car of the Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, Colosseum and Pantheon and 30 minutes by car/taxi from the Vatican. Bus and metro systems nearby are reliable; car hire is possible but parking in the center is difficult.

Accommodation Details

The residence has a master bedroom with a double bed, a large kids bedroom with three single beds, a small lounge next to the kitchen with a sofa bed and a large, modern well equipped kitchen leading on to a spacious terrace. An additional lounge has a TV, dining area and soft gray velvet sofas.

Style Notes

Modern, monochrome and with touches of minimalism, this contemporary apartment has plenty of design touches to enchant visitors. We particularly love the hanging chair on the terrace, the monochrome kitchen and the inventive bookshelves that stack books horizontally to beautiful effect.

We are a young family of 4 people who has just moved from Rome to Dubai for working reasons. We left reluctantly our lovely and new house in Rome which is been totally restored only 2 years ago and it's been thought for needs of a young couple with two little girls! I miss so much to see my kids from the huge windows of my lovely kitchen have a lot of fun in the spacious terrace while i was cooking!!!

Municipio IX, Rome

Green parks and shooting stars

Otherwise known as the EUR district, this area to the southwest of the historic center is one of the city’s leafiest zones, with high rise office developments dotted around green parks and a lake. It’s easy to get into the city’s key attractions, from the Pantheon to the Vatican, by public transport from here, and nearby you’ll find the city’s planetarium and a handful of other museums.
