Set in the Kounoupas area of Mykonos, it has views of the Cycladic islands of Syros, Paros and Tinos along with the magnificent island of Delos. Surrounded by gardens filled with flowers and cacti, the villa offers privacy and a very tranquil atmosphere for a large group to gather together. Each private guest house is secluded and quiet, while shared spaces including the pool and outdoor seating areas allow the opportunity to enjoy each other’s company. Very large and open space areas give you the feel of space and luxury. The feeling is of a peaceful romantic retreat close to the island’s main town and attractions.

Kids will love to play in the pool and splash around. The set up with multiple guest houses makes it easy to travel with friends. Beaches are a short drive away, as is Mykonos Town. Watersports are a key feature of a number of local beaches. A crib and high chair are available.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 nights. Daily 3-hour cleaning is included in the rates. There are rocky paths, ungated stairs inside the house and cacti in the gardens - young children will need extra supervision. Children may also need extra supervision on the first floor balconies; ground floor bedrooms have direct outdoor access. The pool is not gated. Bathrooms include a bath, unusual for Greece. About the Location

The villa is the Kounoupas area of Mykonos, above Mykonos Town, in a quiet, private area near the airport. It has views of the Cycladic islands of Syros, Paros and Tinos along with the magnificent island of Delos. It is a very short drive from Mykonos airport. The views are magnificent towards the countryside of the island and to other islands and the Aegean sea.

Accommodation Details

This unique villa includes a 3-bedroom house and 5 minimalist guest houses. The main 2-story villa is set above the guest houses which all have a sitting room, bedroom, bathroom and private terrace. They can be accessed from the villa or from their own private road. The free-outline pool is close to the residence and it is adjacent to an outdoor dining area , protected by 2 pergolas. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It has sitting and dining areas, a kitchen and 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the ground floor. The next floor up includes an office, small gym and balcony plus a master bedroom with walk-in closet, balcony and split-level bathroom with a large jacuzzi bath. Gardens include large trees, cacti and beautiful flowers.

Style Notes

Traditional Mykonian Style. With narrow openings, stuccoed uneven surfaces, height differences and whimsical surprises, this traditional villa complex has quirks, style and rustic touches throughout. The curvaceous pool is surrounded by great urns and flowering plants, and stone steps lead around the gardens. Interior floors are laid with white marble, bedrooms and the upstairs office have peach board flooring and the guest houses have ceramic tiles. Balconies and the pool area are laid with Tinos marble, a luxury that gives a very special touch. The rest of the courtyard is covered with ochre-grey stone tiles. Ceilings and pergolas are laid with reed over chestnut beams. We love the paintings and artwork, the oversized cacti and the comfortable rustic style.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
